Bitcoin’s recent halving has reignited discussions about its future, especially considering its volatile price trajectory.
According to CoinMarketCap, Bitcoin, along with other cryptocurrencies, appears to be on a downward trend.

However, there are exceptions such as Solana [SOL], Near protocol [NEAR], and KuCoin [KCS] that are showing positive performance on daily charts.
Thomas Lee, Co-founder and Head of Research at Fundstrat, remains optimistic about Bitcoin’s future, suggesting that the current state of the market presents a buying opportunity for Bitcoin and stocks.
Opinions on Bitcoin’s Future
A few weeks ago, Arthur Hayes also expressed his confidence in Bitcoin and the overall crypto market, despite regulatory concerns and volatile prices. He predicts the price of Bitcoin to be between $70k to $100k by the end of 2024.
However, Josh Olszewicz, a seasoned trader, warns that Bitcoin is not entirely out of danger. Using the Ichimoku Cloud indicator, he suggests that Bitcoin’s trend is currently bearish, with Bitcoin below the cloud acting as a barrier.
To reverse this trend, Bitcoin needs to break above the cloud. This observation aligns with AMBCrypto’s analysis of Santiment data, which shows a declining MVRV ratio indicating that most holders were in losses at press time.
