Social Media Trends and Price Movements
The Total Value Locked (TVL) of both these assets has significantly changed over the last month, adding to the excitement surrounding them. Data from Lunar Crush indicates that Ethereum and Solana have recently seen similar and intriguing social media trends. Ethereum had a social dominance of 9.35%, while Solana had 8.85%.
Solana recorded 42.4 million social interactions, and Ethereum had 45.18 million. Both assets also had positive sentiments, with an 85% positivity rate. However, an analysis from Santiment showed a shift in social dominance, with Solana’s decreasing to around 4.7% and Ethereum’s to 7%.
Price Trends and Total Value Locked
The recent increase in social metrics can be explained by the price trends of Ethereum and Solana. Ethereum recently re-entered the $3,000 price range, and at the time of writing, was trading at around $3,107. Despite a slight decrease, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicated that Ethereum remained in a weak bull trend.
Conversely, Solana has been experiencing consecutive uptrends over the past few days. At the time of writing, Solana was trading at around $172. The RSI showed that Solana remained in a strong bull trend.
The Total Value Locked (TVL) for both Ethereum and Solana has increased over the past week and month. However, Solana has seen a more significant rise. Data from DefiLlama showed that Solana’s TVL increased by approximately 11.60% in the past seven days and about 23.8% in the last month. Ethereum’s TVL rose by around 4.6% over the past seven days and 6.2% in the last month. At the time of writing, Solana’s TVL was $4.7 billion, while Ethereum’s TVL was around $55.2 billion.
