Forecasting Bitcoin's Journey Toward a $75,000 Milestone

Key Points

  • Bitcoin’s price may increase to $67,269 in the first phase of the projected upswing.
  • Whales are reportedly preparing to open long Bitcoin positions, indicating a potential price rise.

Bitcoin’s landscape may have altered post its 4th halving, but its price seems to remain consistent.

A significant increase in the number of Bitcoin transfers to derivative exchanges has been observed, suggesting potential price movement.

Whales and Bitcoin

The surge in transfers is reportedly due to whales, large holders of Bitcoin.

When such activity occurs rapidly, it often suggests that these whales are gearing up to open long Bitcoin positions.

On-chain analyst datascope, who shares insights on CryptoQuant, commented on this activity.

He noted that the rise in Bitcoin transfers from exchanges to derivative exchanges is a key indicator.

Recent data suggests that these transfers have significantly influenced Bitcoin’s price increase.

Bitcoin’s Price and Liquidation Levels

As of now, Bitcoin’s price stands at $63,572.

Liquidation levels, which indicate the estimated price levels at which a liquidation event might occur, suggest a potential upside shift.

A cluster of liquidity has been noticed from $65,434 to $67,269, hinting that Bitcoin might target these levels in the near future.

Moreover, there has been substantial buying activity since the drop below $64,000.

If this buying pressure escalates, longs with low leverage could soon reap benefits.

The Cumulative Liquidation Levels Delta (CLLD) was positive at the time of writing, indicating more long liquidations.

However, the CLLD also showed a bearish bias, which could potentially be reversed by whales entering their orders with the current liquidity.

In such a case, Bitcoin’s price might drop, triggering some stop losses.

But once a portion of the liquidity has been flushed out, the price might start to climb again.

Should this pattern continue, Bitcoin could rally, with $75,000 being a possible target in the mid-term.

In the short term, however, Bitcoin might drop below $63,000 before the pump begins later.
