Key Facts:
-
Binance distributed 20 million HYPER tokens to eligible users through its HODLer Airdrops program based on BNB holdings.
-
To qualify, users had to subscribe BNB to Simple Earn or On-Chain Yields between April 14 and April 17, 2025.
-
HYPER trading is now live on Binance, with five available pairs including USDT, BNB, and USDC.
Binance users recently received a new reward in the form of HYPER tokens, thanks to the platform’s expanding HODLer Airdrops program. Hyperlane (HYPER), a cross-chain interoperability project, was selected as the 15th project in this initiative, and eligible BNB holders were rewarded without needing to trade, apply, or interact with the project directly.
The campaign ran from April 14 to April 17, 2025, during which Binance took snapshots of users’ BNB balances subscribed to Simple Earn and On-Chain Yields. A total of 20 million HYPER tokens were allocated to BNB holders, who received their rewards automatically in their spot wallets before the HYPER token went live for trading on April 22, 2025.

Earning Without Active Trading
The HODLer Airdrops program is one of Binance’s highly rewarding feature.
Users who stake or lock their BNB in passive income products like Simple Earn or On-Chain Yields automatically become eligible for select token giveaways.
No manual registration is needed. Binance uses a snapshot-based method, randomly recording balances multiple times per hour during the eligibility window.
If a user’s average BNB holdings meet the criteria, they qualify for a portion of the distributed token allocation. In the case of Hyperlane, each user’s rewards were capped at a maximum of 4 percent of the total distribution pool to ensure wider access.
To benefit from future airdrops like this one, simply hold BNB and subscribe it to any supported earning product in Binance Earn.

Why HYPER Matters
Hyperlane is a blockchain infrastructure protocol focused on cross-chain messaging. It enables developers to send data, assets, and messages across different blockchain ecosystems using modular security options.
As of March 2025, Hyperlane supports more than 150 networks and five virtual machine environments, including Ethereum, Cosmos, and Solana-based chains.
HYPER, the project’s native token, plays a key role in governance, staking, and incentivizing participation in the network.
Validators use HYPER to secure interchain messages, and users can earn rewards based on how much they interact with or contribute to the network.
