- Solana could potentially double in value against Ethereum, according to crypto trader Peter Brandt.
- Despite recent network issues, Solana has demonstrated significant growth.
Peter Brandt, a well-known cryptocurrency trader, recently suggested that Solana (SOL) could potentially double in value against Ethereum (ETH).
Despite recent setbacks, Solana’s 24-hour price cycle showed a 3.56% increase, reflecting optimism in the broader market.
Brandt’s Views on Ethereum
This is not the first time Brandt has expressed skepticism about Ethereum. He has previously referred to it as a “junk coin,” sparking debates within the crypto community about Ethereum’s position and potential.
Despite his criticisms, Brandt also indicated his willingness to capitalize on Ethereum’s market fluctuations.
Solana’s Network Issues
Solana has recently faced network congestion and transaction failures, sparking discussions within the crypto community. In response to these concerns, Matt Sorg, Solana’s Tech and Product Lead, stated that Solana is a highly efficient protocol that has not yet reached its scaling limit.
Despite these setbacks, Solana experienced a 2.2% drop last week. However, it has shown substantial growth, climbing by 34.15% in the past 30 days and an impressive 752.41% over the last year.
Analysts view this recent short-term decline as a temporary setback within Solana’s overall upward trend. As the Bitcoin (BTC) halving is expected later this month, experts see the current market downturn as a potential opportunity for investors to enter the market before an expected recovery.
