Key Points
- Unisat, a Bitcoin service provider, has seen an increase in on-chain metrics, including volume, transactions, and users.
- The spike is attributed to the recent conclusion of its PIZA airdrop.
Unisat, well-known for its Ordinals marketplace, has recently seen a surge in several on-chain metrics, including volume, transactions, and users.
This increase is linked to the conclusion of the PIZZA airdrop, which has significantly boosted activity on the platform.
Unisat’s Record-Setting Volume
Marketplace analysis on the Bitcoin network shows a spike in key metrics for Unisat.
Dune Analytics data indicates a steady growth in volume over recent days, with a notable increase on June 9th.
Unisat recorded over $4.5 million in volume on this day, setting a new all-time high.
This was the highest daily volume recorded on any platform on June 9th.
Transaction analysis also shows consistent growth, with the number of transactions exceeding 8,000, another all-time high.
With this volume spike, Unisat held over 48% of the marketplace’s total volume and more than half of its transactions.
Unisat’s User Growth
While volume and transactions surged, data shows that Unisat’s cumulative unique users still lagged behind other major platforms.
The number of unique users was around 125,000, a relatively low figure compared to other platforms, but still an increase from previous weeks.
However, daily user statistics showed a more noticeable increase, with unique daily users reaching a new high of over 9,500, the highest Unisat has ever seen.
This number also surpassed other platforms, with the closest competitor having around 6,000 daily users.
The PIZZA airdrop was the main catalyst for Unisat’s spike in these metrics.
A few months ago, Unisat announced the airdrop of its PIZZA token. As of June 9th, all PIZZA tokens have been airdropped to the addresses that claimed them.
